ICO-L'Hospitalet is a leading hospital in cancer clinical research. Its Clinical Research Unit (UIC) has actively participated in 612 clinical trials throughout 2023, with 663 patients choosing to enroll. These trials often investigate cutting-edge therapies for cancer, with investigators specializing in the latest advancements in treatment modalities. The UIC boasts top professionals dedicated to conducting even the most challenging clinical trials.
About the role
- Integration into the Clinical Research Unit and Functional Phase I Unit teams, and Investigators' teams for data entry
- Training, completion, and correction of Case Report Forms (CRFs)
- Providing support to Investigators and implementing electronic tools
- Recording trial and patient information into clinical and research applications
- Completing Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports
- Resolving queries related to trial data
- Communicating with Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations (CROs)
- Preparation for and assistance during monitoring visits, audits, and inspections
Job requirements
Professional experience
- Hands-on management of cancer clinical trials
Education and training
- Senior Technician in Health Documentation and Administration
- Training in clinical trials
- Certified training in Good Clinical Practices
Technical & soft skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of clinical trials case report forms
- Organizational skills to plan and execute various activities, understanding their impact on the final outcome of a process
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and provide assistance to others
- Capability to work effectively under pressure
Languages
- Good command of the English language
We will value, but not require
- University degree in Life Sciences
- Previous experience in data management or coordination of cancer clinical trials
- Familiarity with SAP ARGOS electronic medical record systems
