About the unit
The Purchasing and Public Tenders Unit oversees the entire process of acquiring goods and services, from the initial request to delivery. It also manages the execution of public procurement procedures in compliance with the legal system.
About the role
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the following functions:
- Support the Purchasing and Public Tenders Unit
- Archive procurement documents
- Draft good execution certificates
- Manage General Services requests
- Resolve purchase and courier service incidents
Ideally, the role will also include these specialized functions:
- Ensuring the correct execution of rules and procedures
- Advising users on public procurement
- Preparing public procurement files
- Utilizing Public Procurement Platforms (PCSP, RPC, COFFEE/MINERVA, DOUE)
Job requirements
Professional experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in a scientific or research organization, supporting a purchasing unit
Education and training
- CFGS in administration or a related field
Technical & soft skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Analytical and logistical capacity
- Proficiency in computer skills and new technologies
- Strong numerical skills in mathematics
Languages
- Good writing and verbal communication skills in Spanish and Catalan
- Good command of the English language
