Full Stack Developer - Oncology Data Analytics Program
Ref.: 23-278_SS_GC
About the research group
Hereditary cancer
The Oncology Data Analytics Program (ODAP) was built in 2019 to answer the needs of the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) and IDIBELL with a unique program to support the institutes in the areas of oncological data handling, analysis and research for cancer prevention, early detection, and precision oncology. This is performed by applying state-of-the-art bioinformatic tools and analyses. The program is divided in three units:
- The Unit of Bioinformatics for Precision Oncology (UBOP) mainly focuses on the application of bioinformatics to contribute to the development and implementation of precision oncology in clinical practice.
- The Unit of Biomarkers and Susceptibility (UBS) aims to discover and validate molecular biomarkers in cancer, with implications for diagnosis, prognosis and response to treatment.
- The Oncology Outcomes Unit (URO) focuses on the application of analytical data science techniques, like machine learning and artificial intelligence, to identify patterns in patient data and obtain indicators of oncology outcomes.
