About the department
Research Grants Department offers continous support to researchers across the lifecycle of competitive research projects, fostering IDIBELL's leadership in biomedical research.
The International Unit oversees the holistic management of international competitive grants.
About the role
The primary responsabilities for this role iclude:

Advising and assisting researchers thoughout the preparation and submission of international competitive proposals, overseeing all aspects of the grant process, including approval and contract signings

Assisting researchers in drafting proposals and building consortia for coordinated submissions

Identifiying potential funding opportunities and addressing call-related queries
-
Collaborating in the planning of infodays, scientific community training sessions, and similar events
-
Managing communication with funding agencies and national contact points
Job requirements
Professional experience
-
Prior experience in pre-award management of international calls, along with expertise in European Framework Programmes, NIH, and other global funding initiatives

Proficiency in scientific writing
Education and training
Soft skills

Highly organised person with acute attention to detail and adeptenss in meeting stringent deadlines

Effective team player with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities
Languages
- Proficient in English at an advanced level (C1/Certificate in Advanced English or equivalent)

Our institute
IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
