About the research group
Synovial inflammation and bone metabolism (GEISMO)
Arthritis is the inflammation of one or more joints, and involves cartilage degradation. This disease has a variety of origins, and the Synovial Inflammation and Bone Metabolism group studies both the causes and treatments associated with this condition, and the possible complications and relationships with other diseases such as osteoporosis.
Simultaneously, the group has an area of study on systemic autoimmune diseases, which include a wide variety of diseases caused by a reaction of the patient’s own immune system to the body.
About the role
Research support activities under the supervision of a project manager.
Job requirements
Professional experience
- A minimum of four years of clinical activity in a university hospital, caring for patients with systemic autoimmune diseases
- Author or co-author of at least two publications in journals included in JCR
Education and training
- Medical degree
- Rheumatology specialist (MIR)
Technical skills
- Experience in the management of capillaroscopy
- Experience in the management of musculoskeletal ultrasound
Languages
- Good command of the English language
