Higher Technician in Occupational Health and Safety

IDIBELL is looking for a Superior Technician in Prevention of Labour Risks with Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology affiliated to Joint Prevention Service ICO-IDIBELL, with priority dedication in Hospital Duran i Reynals – ICO Hospitalet, and giving service to the other Works centers ICO and IDIBELL : Hospital Josep Trueta – ICO Girona , Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol – ICO Badalona ; Hospital Joan XXIII – Hospital Verge de la Cinta – ICO Tarragona and Terres de l´Ebre.
About de unit
The IDIBELL Occupational Health Unit, together with the ICO's Own Prevention Service, constitute the Joint Own Prevention Service (SPPM-ICO-IDIBELL), in the terms provided in RD 39/97 of Regulation of prevention services. The Unit is in charge of defining and implementing IDIBELL's occupational risk prevention policy.
About the role
- Provide technical advice on Occupational Risk Prevention to all ICO and IDIBELL centres, identifying and assessing workplace hazards and risks.
- Provide technical support to the Head of the Technical Area of the ICO-IDIBELL Occupational Health and Safety Service (SPPM) in matters related to assessed occupational risks.
- Conduct accident and incident investigations and prepare the corresponding reports.
- Prepare technical documentation and deliver training and information sessions for staff.
- Prepare documentation for Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) legal audits.
- Carry out specific risk assessments in the areas of Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
- Coordinate business activities (CAE) with contractors and subcontractors working at ICO and IDIBELL.
- Provide support to the Safety and Industrial Hygiene areas within the ICO-IDIBELL Occupational Health and Safety Service (SPPM).
- Be available to travel between the different ICO and IDIBELL work centres.
Job requirements
Professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Occupational Risk Prevention.
- Solid, specific, and demonstrable experience in Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology, including conducting ergonomic assessments (ERGO IBV, REBA, OWAS, OCRA, etc.) and psychosocial risk assessments (F-PSICO and ISTAS).
- Proven experience in environmental comfort assessments, including thermal, acoustic, and lighting conditions.
- Experience in delivering training programmes.
Education and training
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification, preferably in Scientific-Technical disciplines or Health Sciences. Applications from candidates with other academic backgrounds will also be considered.
- Hold the qualification of Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, with specializations in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
- Hold a valid Category B driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
Technical & soft skills
- Training skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of ERGO IBV software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary technical and healthcare team.
Languages
- Good command of the English language

- A university degree in Physiotherapy or accredited knowledge in this field will be highly valued.
- Knowledge of healthy workplace organizations.
- Knowledge of age management.
- Catalan language proficiency at C level.
