About the research group
Our research program, grounded in molecular and translational research, is focused around two main themes: to gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms that contribute to the onset or spread of pathological features in Parkinson’s disease (PD) and other neurodegenerative disorders; to develop therapeutic strategies enabling early or late intervention in the course of the disease.
Through this program, the Consiglio Lab has built substantial expertise in iPSC-based disease modeling and genome editing technologies, as well as in imaging and microscopy.
About the role
We are seeking a motivated laboratory technician to join the NeurAntigen project, developing a diagnostic kit based on hiPSC-derived neurons for detecting AE-associated autoantibodies. The role focuses on optimizing and standardizing neuronal differentiation, improving long-term stabilization of cell cultures through advanced fixation and refrigeration methods, and ensuring robust kit performance during shipping, storage, and use. Applicants should be highly motivated, well-organized, and able to collaborate effectively within the research group. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
