About the research group

The IDIBELL Legal Services Unit provides comprehensive support on legal issues in research-related matters to scientists, partners (ICO- Hospitalet, HUB, HV and CSI) and IDIBELL management staff. The responsibilities include the administrative management and review of contracts and documents related to fundraising, such as sponsorships, partnership agreements and donations.

 

About the role

Manage at the administrative level all the documentation required for the Fundraising activity as well as review contracts and documents related to donations, sponsorships and collaboration agreements.

 

Job requirements

Professional experience

  • Two (2) years of experience in administrative management and being familiar with document/contract review.

Education and training

  •  General Certificate of Education (GCE), Vocational Education and Training (VET) or Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) 

Technical & soft skills

  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Dynamic, proactive, autonomous, and well-organized person
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently based on objectives
  • Resolving capacity
  • Constant concern for improvement
  • High learning capacity

Languages

  • Good command of the English language

 

We will value, but not required

  • Two (2) years previous experience in a fundraising department of a non-profit institution.
  • Background in working in a hospital environment will be a plus
  • Notions of legal issues related to donations, partnerships and other sorts of
    agreements
  • Essential command of email marketing software and of graphic design tools
  • Knowledge of models and methods for fundraising

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
