About the research group

Our group is interested in modeling diseases in C: elegans and develop CRISPR technologies to facilitate such modeling. More info at www.ceronlab.com

 

About the role

Work in the bench to perform molecular biology techniques, culture and maintenance of C. elegans strains, CRISPR experiments, and common laboratory tasks.

 

Job requirements

Professional experience

  • Experience in cultivate C. elegans and generate strains by CRISPR-Cas
  • Experience in wet lab with RNA and DNA, and in vitro a in vivo CRISPR experiments

Education and training

  •  Master in any topic related to biological science 

Technical & soft skills

  • Skills for lab management and data organization

Languages

  • Good command of the English language

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
