About the research group

The Occupational Health and Safety Unit manages all the procudes related to the occupational risk factors of the workers under the umbrella of the occupational risk prevention service ICO-IDIBELL (SPM ICO-IDIBELL). IDIBELL is convinced that the security and the occupational health depend on an appropriate preventive management. The prevention of occupational risks is one main objective of our companies, beside quality and productivity, and these three concepts —prevention, quality and productivity—, are not independent.

About the role

IDIBELL is looking for an administrative to join the Occupational Health & Safety Unit whose role will be performind administrative tasks and providing administrative support to the technician and healthcare team, such as:

• Answering phone calls and emails control

• Advice to the SPM ICO-IDIBELL management on the organizational aspects

• Support to ICO-IDIBELL workers who come to SPM ICO-IDIBELL

• Collaboration in the elaboration of the documents necessary for the formative activities carried out SPM ICO-IDIBELL.

• Data entry and edition of informative documentation prepared and required by SPM ICO-IDIBELL technician and healthcare team

• Registration and updating of visits, check-ups, etc. of the staff of the different work centers

• Various administrative management tasks SPM ICO-IDIBELL Department

 

Job requirements

Professional experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administration

Education and training

  • Higher training cycle in administration
  • Training in Occupational health and risk prevention will be valued

 

Technical & soft skills

  • Eyhics, honestity and involvement in the workplace
  • Effective communication skills, empaty and ability to teamwork
  • Proactivity and adaptability to change
  • Excellent ability of oral and written expression
  • MS Office, Excel, SAP-Argos computer system management. Prevengos knowledge will be valued.  

 

Languages

  • Good command of the English language
  • High level of Spanish and Catalan lenguage

 

We will value, but not required

  • Familiarity with SAP-Argos and Prevengos® computer system management
  • Master in occupational risk prevention (safety, hygiene or ergonomics) will be valued

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
