Specialist Technician - Modeling Human Diseases in C. elegans
Ref.: 24-072_SS_JC
About the research group
We utilize the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans to model human diseases. Our research group focuses on studying genes involved in RNA processing that are implicated in rare diseases or cancer. With the advent of CRISPR technologies, we are advancing towards personalized medicine by replicating human mutations in C. elegans. Additionally, we leverage the feasibility of CRISPR genome editing in C. elegans to develop more efficient and versatile methodologies for editing genetic loci.
