About the unit

The IDIBELL Talent Unit is in charge of coordinating the entire talent cycle. The unit is in charge of managing the selection processes and designing training according to the needs of the institution.

 

About the role

IDIBELL is seeking a Head of Talent to join the Talent team. The role involves coordinating and supervising the Talent department:
 

  • Design and implement talent development programs that align with our strategy.
  • Identify and develop high potential employees to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create customized development plans for teams and individuals.
  • Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent development initiatives.
  • Implement cutting-edge training programs workshops and seminars to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Evaluate and select external training providers and resources to complement in-house initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through metrics and feedback and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

 

Job requirements

Professional experience

  • Minimum five years of experience in the in-house talent department of a company in the biomedical research sector. This is not a must.
  • Proven experience in develop talent processes, including attraction, recruiting, development, loyalty…
  • Proven track record in training.
  • Experience in other Human Resources areas is valuable.

Education and training

  • University degree.
  • Specialized studies in Human Resources is a must.

  • High capability to detect and attract talent.
  • Ability to persuade.
  • Ethics, honesty and involvement in the workplace.
  • Ability to work both on your own and in a team.
  • To be prepared for the unexpected and Pro-activity.
  • Working around the environment of monitoring and improving the effective use of resources.
  • Ability to execute effectively and work within agreed budgets.
  • Strong coordination skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Languages

  • Good command of the English language

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine. Research, innovation and society are the pivots on which researchers work every day in order to improve the quality of life of citizens.
