About the research group

The biomedical research group on Heart Disease (BIO-HEART) is an emerging group within the Program of Research in Inflammatory, Chronic, and Degenerative Diseases at IDIBELL. It includes health professionals associated with cardiovascular disease management, such as basic postdoctoral researchers, clinical cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, specialized nurses, community family medicine professionals, and cardiologists specializing in imaging techniques for diagnosing coronary artery disease and heart failure. Most professionals are part of Hospital Universitario de Bellvitge and the primary care community area DELTA. BIO-HEART has a strong clinical network of senior researchers in heart failure and coronary diseases who work in multidisciplinary teams, transferring scientific knowledge from previous research projects to redesign patient care for those with cardiovascular diseases.

 

About the role

The person who joins the team will contribute to, assist with, and conduct the clinical registry and recruitment for assessing the management of patients with cardiovascular diseases admitted to the Hemodynamics Unit. They will join the clinical team to work on the clinical registry, evaluating prognostic factors in these complex clinical settings. The candidate must have prior knowledge of hemodynamics, preferably with specific expertise in interventional cardiology.

 

Job requirements

Professional experience

  • Experience in interventional cardiology


Education and training

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine
  • MIR specialization in Cardiology


Technical skills

  • Knowledge of hemodynamics
  • Proficiency in data management for clinical trials


Languages

  • Good command of the English language
