About the research group

Diabetes, Nutririon and Endocrinologial Diseases research group.

 

About the role

To contribute to develop a research project in the área of pancreatic beta cell function/regeneration/cell therapy in diabetes.

 

Job requirements

Practical experience

  • Experience in a research laboratory

Education and training

  • Graduate in an area related to health sciences (Biochemistry, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine, and similar)
  • Admission at a doctoral program (needed at the final step of hiring)

Technical skills

  • Practical skills on cell and molecular techniques, such as cell culture, immunocytochemisty, use of viral vectors, RT-PCR, Western Blot

Languages

  • Good command of the English language

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
