About the research group
This group focuses on diseases of the pancreas, biliary tree, and the gastrointestinal tract. Patients with a variety of symptoms and diseases are evaluated, including those with pancreatitis, biliary strictures and stones, postcholecystectomy complications, unexplained abdominal pain, and suspected gastrointestinal malignancies. They have a extensive expertise performing all kinds of techniques employing endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and complex endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures. They have an active research and collaboration with other referral centers, and have published several papers in the most prestigious journals of the field.
About the role
- Support to formative training in acquiring healthcare and research knowledge in relation to the field of advanced digestive endoscopy in a tertiary and university hospital
- Support to assistance in procedures involving advanced endoscopy techniques: endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, stent placement, diagnosticinterventional-therapeutic echoendoscopy and other advanced interventional endoscopy techniques
- Support to review of the cases schedules in the interventionist agenda and preparation of the daily program as an instrument for the assistance work route
- Support to clinical follow-up of cases performed in interventional endoscopy
- Care support in outpatient module specific for digestive endoscopy
- Daily data collection of the cases performed prospectively in specific databases for each interventional technique performed
- Support to periodic statistical analysis of the collected data
- Support to preparation and management of communications to Congresses and Conferences
- Support to publication of the results in national and international journals
- Active participation in multicenter trials or studies in our Digestive Endoscopy unit

- CFGM (Intermediate Vocational Training Qualification)
Technical & soft skills
- Computer science with basic office automation programming
- SAP hospital computer science
- Database management, REDCa
Languages
- Good command of the English language
