About the research group
The Molleví group investigates how cells and components of the tumor microenvironment—especially cancer-associated fibroblasts—affect tumor development, metastasis, and resistance to chemotherapy in colorectal cancer. Their work focuses mainly on liver metastases and on understanding the histological growth patterns and stromal factors that influence prognosis and treatment response. The ultimate goal is to identify biomarkers and develop new therapeutic strategies to overcome treatment resistance.

Spatial analyses in multiplex antibody panels.
Job requirements
Professional experience
- Experience with spatial analyses in multiplex antibody panels.
- Understanding of the tumor microenvironment, including the role of cancer-associated fibroblasts in tumor progression and chemoresistance.
- Familiarity with colorectal cancer liver metastases and histological growth patterns.
- Interest or experience in biomarker identification and exploring how stromal factors influence treatment response.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative research team focused on tumor and stromal chemoresistance.
Education and training
- Higher Technical Diploma in Biological Sciences
Technical & soft skills
- Digital pathology, MACSima multiplex staining (mandatory)
Languages
- Good command of the English language
