About the unit

The People Department, consisting of three units, oversees all processes related to human resources at IDIBELL in a comprehensive manner.

The People Management Unit is responsible for managing all procedures related to the work environment of IDIBELL employees, as well as personnel affiliated with the institution, ensuring compliance with current labor legislation. This unit is tasked with developing and implementing hiring, compensation, and work-life balance policies, among others.

 

About the role

  • Execute and review payroll calculations and taxations proficiently.
  • Manage communications related to personnel matters with Public Administration and other relevant Institutions (INSS, SEPE, TGSS). Process movements in the Red System, -Contrat@, and SILTRA.
  • Conduct social security settlements accurately.
  • Ensure the correct application of collective agreements and labor regulations.
  • Provide support to IDIBELL employees regarding payroll and legal inquiries.
  • Maintain the personnel database, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates, such as personal information, changes in professional categories, sick leave, maternity and paternity leaves, absenteeism, etc., for payroll processing.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of new HR projects related to working conditions, such as teleworking and clock-control systems.

 

Job requirements

Professional experience

  • At least 1 year of substantial professional experience in payroll and HR administration
  • Good understanding of HR systems, with a strong preference for proficiency in A3 NOM or A3 INNUVA

 

Education and training

  • Completion of a Higher Level Vocational Training (CFGS) program in Administration or a related field

 

Technical & soft skills

  • Thorough understanding of Spanish benefits, Social Security, and payroll tax regulations and administration
  • Good knowledge and experience with Sistema Red, Siltr@, TGSS, AEAT, Delta/Conta, Contrat@, 190, and 111 models
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proactive attitude

 

Languages

  • Fluent in English and proficient in either Catalan or Spanish.

 

We will value, but not required

  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Law, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Human Resources
  • Expertise in HR Agile and HR Analytics
  • Proficient in using ERP systems, particularly Fundanet
  • Understanding of the public funding and research ecosystem

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV).
