About the research group

The Breast Cancer-Molecular Signaling Research Group within the ProCURE-ICO Oncobell-IDIBELL program aims to advance disease prevention through identification of biomarkers and early disease vulnerabilities. The research group is interdisciplinary and embraces national and international collaborations towards these aims. The current proposal aims to decipher the initial molecular and cellular perturbations that mediate cancer initiation. The open position will contribute to this overall objective by performing preclinical studies using animal models.?

Job requirements

Professional experience

• Mouse research expertise. Preclinical studies of drug treatments, and molecular and cellular alterations in tissue.

Education and training

•  BSc degree in areas or biomedicine, cell biology, human genetics or similar 

Technical & soft skills

• Capacities of teamwork, originality, independence and initiative.
• Cell and molecular biology studies
• Human sample processing and data analyses
• Animal research

Languages

• Good command of the English language
• Languages: proficient English

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
