About the research group
Biomedical Research Group on Heart Disease BIO-HEART is a renewed emerging group part of the Program of research in inflammatory, chronic and degenerative diseases at the IDIBELL (Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute).
It comprises health professionals associated with the management of cardiovascular diseases, as basic postdoctoral researchers, clinical cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, specialized nurses, community family medicine professional21 and cardiologists specialized in imaging techniques for diagnosis of coronary arter14205 4disease and heart failure. The majority of the professionals are part of the Hospital Universitario de Bellvitge and first care community area DELTA.
BIOHEART background is a strong clinical network of senior researchers in heart failure and coronary diseases working on multidisciplinary teams that have transferred the scientific knowledge outputs obtained from previous research projects to redesign the care of patients with cardiovascular diseases.

About the role
Principal tasks:
To develop own tasks of specialized nursing in the comprehensive assessment of the patient AFTER ANN Acute Corony event (POSTIAM PATIENT). The person will donate fieldwork, methodological and scientific support to the ARTEMIS-POSTIAM proyect and other clinical studies and registries. These functions include:
• Inclusion of patients in observational studies or registries and clinical trials.
• Management of the information of the study in the field of databases
• Data entry
• Management of biological clinical samples
• Conducting person-centered assessments based on questions
• Management of the patient log and registration of patients included in the studies
• Develop the necessary statistical analyzes to exploit the research data
• Prepare the reports of the results of the studies
• Elaborate and during term communications to congresses and scientific publications in relation to the studies in which it is linked.
Job requirements
Professional experience
- 2 year ( it’s recommendable but not mandatory)
Education and training
Technical & soft skills
- Accreditated active participation in the specific functions in the field of management and fol-low-up of complex chronic patients with telemedicine or other advanced assistance devices. Accredit training in clinical research.
- Accreditated experience as a database management user (ex: RedCap). Accreditable experi-ence in the management of patients with new technologies.
- Communication skills and ability to work as a team.
- Basic knowledge of clinical research and ability to analyse data.
Languages
- Good command of the English language
