About the research group
The Clinical Nutrition Functional Unit of the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO-Hospitalet) is a multidisciplinary clinical and research unit with extensive experience in observational and interventional studies in the fields of oncology nutrition and body composition.
About the role
The Research Dietitian will be responsible for supporting and coordinating nutritional interventions in patients undergoing cancer treatment. Responsibilities include patient recruitment, dietary assessments, body composition evaluations, development and follow-up of personalized dietary plans, data collection and management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and research staff.
The role will contribute to clinical research activities in oncology nutrition and body composition within a multidisciplinary clinical and research environment.
Job requirements
Professional experience
- Clinical experience of at least 2 years in an oncology hospital.
Education and training
- Bachelors degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
Technical & soft skills
- Office software skills
- Additional training in data management, databases and statistics
- Fluent communication with patients and caregivers
- Ability to coordinate clinical studies
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Languages
- Good command of the English language
We will value, but not required
- Knowledge of body composition assessment tools and related software will be highly valued. Knowledge of statistics.
