About the research group

The Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), a public center under the Department of Health of the Government of Catalonia, and a leader in oncology dedicated to care, research, prevention, and teaching, is launching a selection process to incorporate a Mid-Level Degree Holder into the digital health program at the ICO L’Hospitalet work center, located in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.

 

About the role

IDIBELL is looking for a Psychology graduate to join our program and provide support to the Pfizer Multiple Myeloma project and related project.

The selected candidate will support project-related activities, including:

  • Supporting the development, organization, and data analysis of focus groups with pro-fessionals and/or patients.
  • Adapting and updating peer-support app with specific content on Multiple Myeloma.
  • Collaborating in app dissemination tasks and patient recruitment (including informational calls, data management, and collection of informed consent).
  • Facilitating and monitoring the app's use, and identifying potential issues or areas requi-ring adjustment.
  • Managing the distribution of evaluation questionnaires at different stages of the project.
  • Supporting the analysis of evaluation data and the drafting of final reports.
  • Collaborating in the preparation of scientific communications and publications.

 

Job requirements

Professional experience

  • Research Skills:
    • Understanding of the complexities inherent in patient recruitment, informed con-sent management, and data collection.
    • Experience in qualitative research (e.g., focus groups).
    • Experience in the development and administration of online surveys.
    • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Digital Health and Technology Competence:
    • Familiarity with digital health tools, mobile applications, and web platforms used in healthcare and research environments.
    • Knowledge in managing and implementing digital systems for data collection and participant engagement.

Education and training

  •  Possession of a Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Psychology. 

Technical & soft skills

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with online survey platforms such as REDCap, SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics.

Languages

  • Good command of the English, Spanish and Catalan language

 

We will value, but not required

  • Possession of a Master's Degree or formal recognition as a Health Psychologist.
  • Experience in Digital Health projects and online psychosocial care.

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV).
