Support technician - Gene Regulation of Cell Identity Lab
REF: 25-038_SS_MP
About the research group
Gene regulation of cell identity
Research at the Gene Regulation of Cell Identity Group aims at understanding how post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms and their regulators, mainly RBPs and miRNAs, are involved in the establishment of cellular identity and how their dysregulation contributes to the development of neurodegenerative diseases. For this purpose, we use iPSCs to model neural differentiation in humans and study their differentiation process using a combination of molecular biology techniques with high-throughput omics and computational tools.

About the role
The successful candidate will perform support experimental work in the lab. Selected candidates will work on developing and implementing new experimental approaches for the direct differentiation of neural and glial cells from iPSCs and fibroblasts. Tasks will also include the culture and differentiation of iPSC cell lines, characterization of cellular phenotypes using imaging and molecular biology approaches and the use of CRISPR/Cas9 technology to perform functional validations.
