About the unit

The Clinical Research and Clinical Trials Unit (UICEC) is a platform within IDIBELL that provides support to clinical research groups conducting non-commercial clinical studies. The activities of UICEC align with the responsibilities of researchers as promoters of clinical trials (CT).

UICEC is integrated into SCREN, an ISCIII Clinical Research Support Platform (PT20/00008 and PT23 00061).

 

About the role

Clinical trial monitoring involves ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research protocol requirements. Additionally, it entails collaborating with other activities related to clinical trial documentation, archiving, and follow-up.

 

Job requirements

Professional experience

  • Prior involvement in monitoring CT
  • Previous experience in monitoring both drug CT and device CT


Education and training

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology)
  • Training in CT Monitoring and Successful Completion of Practical Course


Technical & soft skills

  • Understanding of Ethical and Legal Regulations in CT
  • Proficiency in Good Clinical Practice Guidelines


Languages

  • Good command of the English language

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine. Research, innovation and society are the pivots on which researchers work every day in order to improve the quality of life of citizens.
