About the research group

The Systemic, Vascular Diseases and Aging research group focuses on investigating the impact and treatment of systemic diseases, which affect multiple organs, from both clinical and epidemiological perspectives. Their expertise encompasses autoimmune, autoinflammatory, and immunodeficiency disorders. This group delves into these diseases through basic research, utilizing cell and animal models, and progresses to clinical research, serving as a model for translational medicine.

 

About the role

  • Collaborate in acquiring data for studies on COVID-19, autoimmune diseases, and immunodeficiencies
  • Assist in analyzing the data from various studies
  • Participate in presenting the results at conferences
  • Contribute to the development of publications arising from the research



Job requirements

Professional experience

  • Laboratory experience in genetics
  • Role of study coordinator in clinical trials


Education and training

  • Degree in Medicine
  • Specialisation in Internal Medicine
  • Training in Clinical Trials 


Technical skills

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access software


Languages

  • Good command of the English language

Our institute

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
