About the research group
The Research Group on Pharmaceutical Care and Health Outcomes in Cancer Patients at the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) focuses on improving cancer treatment through research and clinical practice.
ICO is a comprehensive cancer center that collaborates with the Pharmacotherapeutic Harmonization Program (Catsalut) to evaluate and monitor the use and outcomes of medicines. This work involves collecting and analyzing clinical and administrative data to support decision-making in oncology care.
Within Hospital Pharmacy, our activities include:
• Evaluation and therapeutic positioning of anti-cancer drugs
• Real-world data and outcomes research
• Implementation of pharmaceutical strategies
• Assessment of risk-sharing agreements
About the role
As a member of the Pharmacy Service team, you will support data quality and management in cancer clinical care. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Data entry and review in clinical and research applications
• Supporting prescribers and pharmacists in completing required information
• Recording and validating patient and clinical data
• Communicating with prescribers, hospital pharmacists, and Catsalut when needed
Job requirements
Professional experience
- Understanding of hospital pharmacy activities
Education and training
- Degree in Pharmacy
- Background in hospital or clinical settings
Technical & soft skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple activities and understand their impact on outcomes
- Capacity to collaborate, support colleagues, and consider different perspectives
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
Languages
- Good command of the English language
We will value, but not required
- Previous experience in data management or coordination of data regardig patients& treatment registry (RPT)
- Familiarity with SAP ARGOS electronic medical record system
- University degree in life Science

- Contract duration: 6 months 15-20 h/week extendable to 6 months 39 h/week
- Estimated annual gross salary: 32223,10 € (39 h/week)

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV).
