About the unit
The IDIBELL Legal Services Unit is responsible for providing comprehensive support and interdisciplinary advice on research-related legal issues and data protection. This support extends to researchers, partners (ICO-L'Hospitalet, HUB, HV, and CSI), and various IDIBELL departments and units.
About the role
We are looking for a lawyer to join our legal team. The role involves preparing and reviewing contracts, as well as providing legal advice and support to the Foundation and its partners.
Job requirements
Professional experience
-
Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts

Proven experience in civil law and preferably contract law

Minimum two years of experience in a legal-related position
Education and training
Technical & soft skills

Ethics, honesty, and dedication in the workplace

Empathy, teamwork skills, and proactivity

Ability to handle a high volume of issues and manage resources effectively

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word

Specific studies in Law in the health sector
- Expertise in data protection and compliance
- Experience in the in-house legal department of a company in the biomedical research sector

Our institute
IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine. Research, innovation and society are the pivots on which researchers work every day in order to improve the quality of life of citizens.
