About the research group
This group's research encompasses diverse areas of microbiology and clinical infections, including multidrug-resistant bacterial infections, a major cause of morbidity and mortality. Early detection of the infection's etiology, as well as the detection of antibiotic resistance markers, is essential for the proper management of patients and to prevent the nosocomial transmission of multidrug-resistant pathogens.
About the role
Collaborate in the development and implementation of molecular techniques (commercially available) for the rapid detection of sepsis and for the detection of colonization by multidrug-resistant bacteria, in a defined patient population and for the duration of the project.
